HOW TO FIND US

There are two routes you can take to reach Agios Dimitrios and then Theta Hotel..

The first route

is via the mountains, lying at a distance of 50 kilometres from Volos. Passing Western Pelion via Portaria, you ascend the mountain until you reach the village of Chania, which is where the ski centre is. Following the ski centre road will take you to Kissos. From there, take the left turning and then turn left again down to Agios Ioannis.
When you reach the village of Agios Dimitrios you will see roughly in the centre of the village on your left hand side the church of Agios Dimitrios. Beyond this at around 200 metres on your right hand you’ll see the sign showing the way to the hotel.

The second route

is via the coast, cutting across the Pagasitikos Gulf shoreline. This is 60 kilometres from Volos. Take the coastal route through the villages of Agria, Gatzea, and Kala Nera. Continue to Milies, from where you’ll ascend towards Tsagkarada. After 15 minutes and having passed the village of Mouresi, you’ll reach the crossroads for Agios Dimitrios which directs you right.

From Athens you can take a bus using KTEL which runs a regular service. Time: 4 hours to Volos. Thessaloniki-Volos takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.
